HardwareOrder Control Tower
IT-hardware order management cockpit — Plan & Control, logistics providers, KPI/SLA steering (DE/EN)
HardwareOrder Control Tower is a Weltenmarkts portfolio demo for IT-hardware supply chain order management. It models Auftragserstellung and planning, release into an outsourcing model with external logistics providers, operational goods-receipt handoffs, and a leadership KPI cockpit (order cycle time, quality, SLA/OLA fulfillment, exceptions). The document flow is SAP-inspired (MM/SD/WM concepts) for PCs, network components, printers, and related hardware — without claiming a live SAP HANA connection.
The Problem
IT-hardware order desks often span Plan & Control, Operations, and outsourced logistics providers with weak shared visibility on cycle time, SLA breaches, and committed budget — so leadership cannot steer exceptions early.
The Solution
Built a React/TypeScript control tower with seed IT-hardware master data, an interactive order board (draft → plan → release → transit → goods receipt → close), provider steering cards with OLA targets, a three-lane interface timeline (Plan & Control / Operations / Provider), KPI charts, and a budget/headcount snapshot for department-level accountability.
Why a control tower — not another warehouse WMS
This role is order management and provider steering for IT hardware logistics, not plant tool custody. The demo emphasizes leadership KPIs, outsourcing handoffs, and German operational language.
IT hardware catalog
Seed materials cover PC hardware, network components, network printers, accessories, and edge servers — matching typical IT-hardware SCM scope.
SLA / OLA steering
Orders carry SLA hours; providers carry OLA targets. The KPI cockpit surfaces fulfillment and exception queues for leadership action.
Key Features
KPI cockpit
Open orders, exceptions, average cycle time, SLA/OLA fulfillment, and quality rate with status distribution chart.
Order board
Create, plan, release, assign providers, and close IT-hardware orders with requester, site, SKU, qty, and due dates.
Provider steering
Outsourcing view of logistics providers with region, OLA target, on-time performance, and active order lists.
Interfaces & budget
Plan & Control / Operations / Provider handoff timeline plus department budget committed/spent/remaining and headcount plan vs actual.
